How to play Zombie Zap
Cure every shambler before it crosses the safe line, then survive the faster waves for a higher cure score.
Choose your controls
Keyboard and touchscreen
Desktop
Hold Left and Right or A and D to smoothly move the cure cannon. Hold Space, Arrow Up, W, or the pointer to keep firing cure pulses.
Phone or tablet
Hold and drag across the playfield to aim and fire. Hold Zap for continuous fire; Left and Right move the cannon.
Scoring & progression
Cure score grows with your combo
Your saved record is cure score, not simply the number of zombies cleared. A zombie's base points are multiplied by your current combo multiplier. Every five consecutive cures raises that multiplier, up to 4×. A shield hit breaks the combo, making protecting the safe line important for both survival and scoring.

What to watch in Zombie Zap
Aim while keeping the cure flowing
The cannon moves continuously across the bottom of the playfield. Hold the fire control to keep sending cure pulses while adjusting your position. Different zombies create different pressures, so prioritize the ones closest to crossing the safe line.
Make room to collect power-ups
Cyan cells give you three-lane fire. Shield cores can repair your protection. Power-ups can help recover control of a crowded field, but crossing into trouble to catch one can cost the combo you were trying to preserve.
Build a better run
Zombie Zap strategies
- Move under the most urgent target before chasing a distant one. The lowest zombie usually gives you the least time to react.
- Keep firing while steering, using small horizontal adjustments to cover neighboring targets.
- Use three-lane fire to cover a wider group, then look for a safer position before the effect runs out.

Before your next attempt
Why did my multiplier drop?
Taking a shield hit resets the consecutive-cure combo. Build another chain of cures to raise the multiplier again.
Why is the score different from the number of zombies I cleared?
Zombie types have base point values, and combo multipliers increase those rewards. The displayed cure score is the total of those points.
Where is my personal best saved?
Your best is stored in this browser on this device. There is no account or online leaderboard. Clearing this site's browser data removes the saved record; using another device or browser starts with its own record.
