Gravity Drift

Singularity survival

Stay out of the dark.

Thrust against the pull, clear debris with Space, and use cyan pulse cores as an escape kick.

How to play

The black hole is always pulling. Use Arrow keys or WASDto thrust and press Space to fire toward the nose of your ship. Clear incoming debris before it hits, then grab glowing cyan pulse cores for a strong launch away from the center. Fly near the event horizon to charge a gravity shot that can break any debris in one hit.

How to play Gravity Drift

Stay outside the event horizon while debris is dragged through the arena faster and faster.

Gravity Drift gameplay
Keep an escape route between incoming debris while balancing the black hole's inward pull.

Scoring & progression

Survival is the goal; debris is the pressure

Your personal record is survival time in seconds. Destroyed debris and collected pulse cores are tracked during the run, but they do not replace the time record. The ship starts with three hull. Manage both the pull of the black hole and the incoming debris as the arena becomes busier.

Understand the challenge

What to watch in Gravity Drift

Build a gravity shot near the horizon

Flying close to the inner orbit charges your weapon. A charged gravity shot breaks any debris in one hit. Moving inward to charge is a tradeoff: you are also moving closer to the event horizon, so plan your outward thrust before taking the risky line.

Pulse cores offer a recovery

Cyan pulse cores kick the ship outward and repair one hull, up to the maximum of three. They can give you breathing room after a close pass. The black hole remains a threat even when the hull display is full.

Build a better run

Gravity Drift strategies

  1. Use short directional corrections to keep room between your ship and the horizon. Waiting until you are very close makes recovery harder.
  2. Clear debris that blocks an escape route rather than firing only at the nearest object.
  3. Approach a pulse core with the next movement already planned. The outward kick changes your position, so reassess the debris around you after collecting it.

Common questions

Before your next attempt

Does a charged shot make my ship invulnerable?

No. It strengthens the shot, not the hull. You still need to avoid debris and stay outside the event horizon.

How do firing and movement work on a touchscreen?

Touch and hold in the direction you want to thrust. Release, then tap to fire. That separates a movement hold from a firing tap.
